Android can connect to any hosting-based email account using IMAP. You'll need your email address, password, and the mail server details from your hosting provider.
Step 1: Find Your Server Settings
Log in to your hosting control panel (cPanel, Plesk, etc.) and go to Email Accounts. Look for the IMAP/SMTP configuration details. You need:
- Incoming mail server (IMAP): usually
mail.yourdomain.com - Outgoing mail server (SMTP): usually the same
- Your email address and password
Step 2: Add the Account on Android
- Go to Settings → Accounts → Add account.
- Choose Personal (IMAP) or Other.
- Enter your full email address and tap Next.
- If Android can detect settings automatically, great. If not, tap Manual setup.
- Choose IMAP as the account type.
- Enter the incoming and outgoing server settings from the table below.
- Tap Next and Done.
